Renowned actor Yoo Seung Ho returns to the small screen playing a dynamic character in the upcoming Wavve Original drama titled The Deal.
Adapted from the webtoon of the same name, the K-drama The Deal features Yoo Seung Ho as Lee Jun Seong, the pivotal character in a gripping abduction thriller revolving around a 10-billion-won ransom, orchestrated by two young men who accidentally abduct their own friend. Throughout the drama, he brings to life the struggles of a young man faced with an irreversible choice and the daunting consequences that follow.
Lee Jun Seong, fresh out of military service and determined to start anew, finds himself trapped in an unplanned abduction scheme, leading to a whirlwind of emotional upheaval and inner turmoil.
Speaking about his role, the actor shared, “Jun Seong is unlike any character I’ve portrayed before. I aimed to authentically depict his raw emotions, such as the wrinkles on his face and the flushed complexion that surfaces when he’s angry”.
Director Lee Jung Gon, the creative mind behind the project, expressed, “Yoo Seung Ho was a natural fit for the role of Jun Seong. As the series progresses, viewers will undoubtedly be captivated by Jun Seong’s pivotal choices and actions”.
Yoo Seung Ho has held lead roles in famous K-dramas like I’m Not a Robot, My Strange Hero, and Memorist. In The Deal, he will be seen alongside Kim Dong Hwi, Yoo Soo Bin, and Lee Joo Young.
The Deal has been invited to the On Screen section of the Busan International Film Festival and is slated to release on October 6th (Friday).
