On the final episode of tvN’s weekend drama See You in My 19th Life (directed by Lee Na Jung and written by Choi Young Rim), a still featuring a deep kiss between Shin Hye Sun (Ban Ji Eum) and Ahn Bo Hyun (Moon Seo Ha) was released.

The entire story of Ban Ji Eum’s first life was revealed in the previous episode. Especially the twist that her past memories were a curse she cast herself, surprised viewers. In her first life, Soo (played by Shin Hye Sun) stole the ghost artifact in Sindang, and when she tried to escape, Cheon Woon (played by Lee Chae Min) killed her sister, Seol (played by Ha Yoon Kyung).

Most notably, when Cheon Woon tried to kill Soo with the dagger he drew to kill Seol, Han Ya took the hit for her. As a result, Soo survived and became famous after being hit by an arrow from Cheon Woon’s soldiers. Eventually, just before dying, Soo held onto the muryeong and vowed with burning resentment, “I will not forget today. I will remember this bitterness and remember it again. Whether it’s a hundred or a thousand years, I will never forget, and when I am reborn, I will take revenge.” Thus, the story of Soo’s soul being trapped in the cycle of reincarnation and remembering her past life curse was unveiled, intensifying the immersion.

Furthermore, will Shin Hye Sun break the curse of remembering her past lives and find a happy ending only in this current life? The answer will be revealed in the final episode airing today, July 23rd at 9:20 PM KST.
