The teaser depicts each character’s timeline leading up to the extreme situation of the hijacking.

Co-pilot Tae In was a skilled Air Force fighter pilot. However, he is forcibly discharged after refusing to comply with orders to shoot down a hijacked plane. He then becomes a co-pilot for a civilian airline and finds himself at a crossroads when his plane gets hijacked.

Prioritizing the safety of the passengers, Tae In urges hijacker Yong Dae, “I’m willing to risk my life too. Please, let the passengers go.” However, his pleas fall on deaf ears. Yong Dae boarded the plane to live with his older brother, who is in the North, after their mother passed away. Shortly after takeoff, he detonates a bomb and seizes control of the plane. Him saying, “Dying? Living scares me more,” shows his determination to go to North Korea at any cost.

Hijacking will be released on June 21. Watch the teaser here
