The released posters have a riveting setting. The commanding presence of ace Counter So Moon and the formidable evil spirit Pil Kwang adds to the anticipation. Moreover, the vibrant ambiance of the Counters standing in their territory indicated by aurora lights is in stark contrast to the dark aura emanated by the evil spirits,
The text on the Counters’ poster, “Dear Evil Spirits, are you prepared to be summoned?” challenge the evil spirits, whereas, the text on the evil spirits’ poster, “The weakest are devoured first, that is fate” showcases their nefarious intentions.
What draws attention is the demons and Ma Joo Seok (Jin Seon Kyu), who face each other around the cracked ground. Joo Seok is walking towards them but doesn’t stand amongst them and is surrounded by pitch-black darkness, piquing curiosity about whether he is among the good or the evil.
These teaser posters offer a visually stunning and suspenseful glimpse into the world of the Counters and the evil spirits. The updated costumes of the Counters, trading their red training suits for black ones, exude a stronger and more commanding air.
The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch will premiere on July 29 on Netflix.
